THE CHILPAYATE FOUNDATION
Valentino Danchev launched the Chilpayate Foundation in November 2016. From the beginning, its main objective has been to lay the groundwork for children and young people from deprived communities to have a better future. Thanks to the great work and collaboration of many people espousing the same mindset, the Foundation has managed to galvanize the community and encourage all citizens to actively participate in the transmission of these values.
MISSION AND VISION
The mission of the Chilpayate Foundation is to support, by all means necessary, the welfare and education of children and young people in underserved communities. Guiding young people’s educational, cultural and recreational development to unlock new opportunities for their future is the Foundation’s fundamental goal.
The vision of the Foundation is to inspire, unite and coordinate the efforts and talent of its volunteers who help expand the possibilities of children and young people facing the challenges of an unequal society.

The Values of
the Foundation
These values formed the heart of the Chilpayate Foundation even before it officially became a non-profit association, when it was simply an idea shared by a group of friends motivated to join forces and do good for their community. From the beginning, this group of friends was convinced that acting with these values would lead to great things.
Driven by this conviction, the team members took a one-way trip to Xcalakdzonot, Yucatan in 2014 with the goal of offering communities in the region an amazing Children's Day, full of joy and fun. This is how the Chilpayate journey began.
FIRST STEPS
For the following three years, this group of friends continued organizing recreational and educational activities for children and young people, before finally deciding that it was time to go one step further.

Working together with Valentino Danchev, the group realized their shared vision to create a space of diversity, recreation, assistance, and education: the Chilpayate Foundation.
Through the experience, effort, and will of the Foundation’s members, this collective undertaking has achieved incredible results for young people and children in need.
​Both the Foundation and Valentino have promoted inclusion and development programs that offer
a beneficial environment for everyone involved.
