As the CEO of Fidelis Marketing Group, Mr. Danchev, known to his friends as “Valentino”, has managed thriving teams for luxury vacation membership programs and top flight resort operators, promoting high-end tourism and elite experiences across Latin America. Beyond the world of business, Valentino is the founder of the Chilpayate Foundation. A prominent non-profit organization based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the Foundation provides education and culture-focused resources and assistance to children living in underserved communities. Even in his down time, Valentino leads an active life. An avid outdoorsman, adventurer and lover of motorsports, Valentino is a repeat participant in the Baja 1000, an annual off-road motorsport race held in Baja California.   Danchev’s group of companies have nearly US $1 billion in annual sales with nearly 2,000 employees.  His companies represent some of the largest revenue companies in Mexico and are on the Mexican government’s Grandes Contribuyentes list (a list of the largest taxpayers in Mexico). Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Kaloyan Valentinov Danchev attended the highly-selective Francophone high school, Lycée Français Alphonse de Lamartine de Sofia. Upon graduating, he attended Sofia’s University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy before joining the Miroglio Group in 1996, then the largest Italian textile company in Europe.  In the ensuing years, Valentino Danchev rapidly rose through the ranks to become Sales Manager for Miroglio’s Giorgetti fabrics line across all of Eastern Europe. With a host of representative offices spanning Eastern Europe, Valentino’s role sent him throughout the region, in addition to extensive travel to Miroglio’s Italian headquarters in Alba, Piedmont, major textile shows in Paris and Frankfurt, and overseas business trips to 
New York.

LET'S LEARN TOGETHER

Back-to-School time is one of the most challenging moments of the year for people with low incomes living in difficult economic situations. Yet, this period also offers a great chance to collaborate and bring out a community’s collective generosity. Given that not everyone is offered the same life opportunities, Kaloyan Valentinov Danchev believes that providing children with a good education is one of their most precious assets for a brighter future. As such, the Chilpayate Foundation created
the Let’s Learn Together program to encourage inclusive education.

This initiative involves the collection and distribution of school supplies to a low-income school.

From backpacks, pencils and books to erasers, notebooks and other learning materials, the Foundation helps to provide these students with the essentials for studying and learning.

THE CHILPAYATE FOUNDATION

Valentino Danchev launched the Chilpayate Foundation in November 2016. From the beginning, its main objective has been to lay the groundwork for children and young people from deprived communities to have a better future.

Thanks to the great work and collaboration of many people espousing the same mindset, the Foundation has managed to galvanize the community and encourage all citizens to actively participate in the transmission of these values.

One of Valentino’s significant commitments is his involvement with the ‘Send Me On Vacation’ initiative, a program that offers leisure time and vacations to breast cancer survivors. The initiative aims to empower these individuals, helping them to rejuvenate and heal their minds, bodies, and souls in a journey of rediscovery and self-connection.

10TH ANNIVERSARY CHILDREN´S DAY EVENT

Since its inaugural 2014 effort in Xcalakdzonot, Yucatán, the Chilpayate Foundation team has celebrated Children's Day every 30th of April with one of its most important events.

The Foundation proudly organizes a toy drive which delivers gifts to children from
vulnerable communities in the states of Quintana Roo and Yucatán.

FIDELIS CHRISTMAS SHOW 2023

On December 15, 2023, the 13th edition of the Fidelis Christmas Show took place with the generous and unwavering support of Valentino Danchev and Fidelis Marketing Group’s employees.

For over a decade now, the Christmas Show has remained one of Valentino’s proudest charitable contributions to the community. 

SPORTS

Sport is a key part of Kaloyan Valentinov Danchev’s life. As an avid fan of water sports and car racing, he actively participates in all types of events related to these sports, from jet skiing competitions to off-road rallies like the Baja 1000. A certified pilot and aircraft owner, Valentino greatly enjoys an outdoors lifestyle that allows him to feel the adrenaline of adventure.
